What is Magnetic Muscle Stimulation?
CoolTone™ uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) to selectively deliver strong pulses to muscle tissues in a noninvasive manner. CoolTone’s MMS technology penetrates into the muscle layers and induces involuntary muscle contractions, all in a safe and effective treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Most patients return to normal activities immediately after a CoolTone™ treatment. Some patients experience muscle soreness in the treated area similar to how one would feel after an intense workout. Common side effects may include, but may not be limited to, muscular pain, temporary muscle spasm, temporary joint or tendon pain, and redness at or near the treatment site.
What does a CoolTone treatment feel like?
CoolTone is not painful. You will feel strong muscle contractions and thinner patients may feel this more intensely than others due to having less fat in the treated area.
When will I see results?
Patients will see immediate results which will continue to improve for several weeks. Results are not permanent but may last up to 6 months or longer.
Is CoolTone the same as CoolSculpting?
CoolTone is different from CoolSculpting. CoolSculpting® is a fat-freezing technology to reduce pockets of fat in troublesome areas such as the abdomen, flanks, or under the chin. CoolTone™ uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation to tone, strengthen and firm muscles in the abdomen, thighs and buttocks.
